C.C.R.M. Replacement

Post by mcm51 »

Fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump replacement did not correct my random no-start condition but I can sure tell that my Bird likes the new walbro pump and new walker regulator because when it wants to start, it starts a little quicker and a little bolder for sure.....
I'll be installing a new $97. Rostra c.c.r.m. today, Ford service and Motorcraft relay modules are long gone, Rostra is owned by Sonnax which is a name I think I can trust.......Hopefully this relay replacement will have an effect on my random no-start condition and as I've said before, I should know within a couple days.......
My next and most costly move would be to swap out the E.C.U.........

*UPDATE* Relay module has been installed, it's very easy to get to with lower section of air filter box out of the way.......I have started my Bird several times now with no issue, but now will be the real test, I'll let her sit for a couple days, which if I still have an issue, will probably show up after sitting a couple days.......
