I have been advised my UPS that I have my battery being delivered today from Jim's Battery! Only 12 month waiting time.

That's insane ! I was told in February last month that my order was going to take 4-6 weeks. But I did not give a card number.
I have read horror stories from google about customers that have gone through this....So I decided to go with a non period correct battery. I paid $150.00 for a Interstate 29 NF battery. If I have a issue with it the store is just down the street.

ICON 1956 wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2024 6:06 pm The weather here in Illinois is getting warmer. So I decided to get the Interstate battery Group 29 NF. I purchased it today. So I switched out the AEM battery along with the three hole battery holder. I did had the two hole battery holder. Everything fits but there is a gap between the battery tray base. I was able to secure it with the two hole battery holder. I just want to close this chapter in the forum. what is done is done so it's not period correct I have nothing to prove, She has won every award possible.

Good choice. I know like us, you enjoy taking your bride on country cruises. Looks great and will be reliable for a long time.
Pardon my stupidity, what do the two wires on top power?
Mark
These wires are hooked up to a trickle charger, I have always had these connected to all my motorcycles and classic cars.

No Paul, I have won many shows. I just want to cruise with the wife and enjoy a nice sunny day. All I can say I've been there done that.

Good attitude. You know you have an award winner and now it's time to enjoy the experience of driving it. Mine's a driver but very eye catching but not perfect but correct. Local show worthy but has some minor bumps and bruises just like me but everything works. That's all I ask.
