TBird Special Emblem ID Help

Post by NOS_Sandy »

I bought a house and found a stash of various auto parts in the basement. The previous owner was a Ford employee who obviously had taken many small parts home with him. I’m working through identifying the parts and have been stuck on this Thunderbird Special Emblem (pictured).

I’d like to know the year and where on the vehicle this emblem belongs. I am not trying to sell it! Just want to ID it. It is 1-3/4” wide and 1” high. See part number, etc pictured.

1958 Ford full-size car glove box door emblem for cars equipped with the 352 cu.in.-300 hp engine. Need to double-check this against what was used for the 332 cu.in. "Interceptor" version.
