I've got two reinforced rubber hangers attached to the frame near the back of the car that I have no idea what to do with.
The are next to one of the rear bumper brackets.
Can anyone identify the purpose for these?

This is the rubber support bracket for the exhaust tail pipe.

Whatever they were for in the past they don't belong there, every picture you google there is nothing there but the bolt that holds the bracket to the frame, maybe somebody had the exhaust routed through there at one time ?

Good call ranchbird. I think you're right, as the new dual exhaust system I installed came no where close to these. Maybe an earlier version of an exhaust system
