Here's my wish list can you work wonders on these?
1- The small bracket that bolts to the drivers side rear stud holding down the carb. It secures the trans kickdown spring on a 62.
Yep, I've got an original '62 style - replated too!
2- a correct and working vacuum check valve for a 62.
I've got one of those too, re-plated with correct yellow cad. How about the label - I've got one if you need it.
3- wire harness retaining clip that goes above the vent drain tubes on the drivers side at the firewall (engine compartment side). its larger because of the bigger diameter of the harness at that point.
I think I may have an extra one of those - it's unique in that it doesn't have a windshield washer "clip" on the top either. I'll have to look.
4-the assembly that holds the lower transmission linkage at the transmission. Its the part that allows the linkage adjustment in the long slot.
I'll have to refresh my memory on that one. As I recall there's a nylon bushing in the linkage rod, which I know I have, and then some kind of a nut and cotter pin arrangement.

OK, Norton, I found a picture of the linkage stud. I don't have one and I think they're kind of hard to come by. Your machine shop could probably make one up pretty easily. Here's a photo:

I can measure a send you a drawing with dimensions if you want to go that way.

The green nylon bushing - B9A-7343-A - that I was thinking of actually goes on the bottom pin of the kickdown rod that's secured to the trans kickdown arm. It's not part of the shift linkage.

I expect to use my ash tray as a cell phone holder. How many springs do we need, 1 or 2?
Thanks,
TB

Learned the other day, that this spring set, though still incorrect, has a far superior fit, and are nearly as stout as an original spring.
The aforementioned Mustang springs, are very weak, and will rub on the lighter socket.
I did square up (some) the very poorly formed 'jogs' at the end of these Chebby springs with a two pairs of NN pliers.
