In 1965, I purchased a 1963 original T Bird Sports Roadster from a friend of mine who had bought it new. I owned the car for almost 50 years but my eyesight deteriorated in 2000 and I could no longer drive. I had restored the car three times so new it inside out.It stayed in my garage for ten or more years until I finally sold it and it was eventually sold at the Pebble Beach auctions and I lost track of the car.
I would love to speak to the current owner and provide him with the full history and some of the unique features that can identify it.

Not sure I understand your reply. I bought my 63 Sports Roadster in 1990 and learned about the Roadster Society through VTCI. I recall being directed to Lois Emminger and subsequently sent her a rubbing of my data plate and $20.00. Shortly thereafter I received the gate release on my car and a certificate from Lois. After Lois passed I have continued to hear from Ron Bates. Am I missing something?

Ron Bates and the Sport Roadster Society no longer have the gate releases(factory invoices). These are now in the hands of Marti Auto Works (www.martiauto) at a much more reasonable price.
