Hello Folks,
My 62 Tbird Convertible came to me with wind deflectors (like the one pictured below) mounted to each vent window.
The plexiglass is cracked and faded and i would like to discard them, any tips for removal? They seem to be mounted rather securely and I don't want to do any damage.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Vent Window Plastic Wind Deflector Removal
The plastic just pulls out of the S.S. channel, it is a very snug fit and will not be easy to get them out. Start at the top end and work your way down.

Re: Vent Window Plastic Wind Deflector Removal
Hi, I just did mine. I used a very small screwdriver at the base and carefully worked it up and out of the stainless channel. Like Jim says it is just a pressure fit. Mine did have a lot of dirt and grime specially on the bottom and it seemed to help to wash it with lots of soap and water to help it slip out. Hope this helps.
