Part identification
Does anyone know what these bolts go to. I think it has something to do with the seats
Re: Part identification
AND those are the bolts that go with the seat plates, that are from your other post.
The Hex head bolts go with the Solid plate, and the pointed style go with the slotted plate.

Re: Part identification
Does the solid plate go on the driver side or passenger side
Re: Part identification
Solid plate goes on Drivers side, along with Hex head bolts
Slotted plate then goes to Pass seat
Slotted plate then goes to Pass seat

Re: Part identification
Thanks Wally for the info. I always wondered why the drivers and passenger side were different on my 64. Why is that??

Re: Part identification
Randy, I can only talk of my cars. I honestly do not know why the seats are set up this way. I do know that my Passenger seat is a recliner, and I assumed it had to do with the method of pivot action and stability, and keep the seat aligned, when sloping back. The pointed pin would roll as you reclined the seat and guided the seat back as it was brought back up.
Anyone have a thought or knowledge on this?
