power windowmotor

Post by Vinnyallen »

I just purchased a 1965 :?: t-bird. First ford I ever had but always loved the birds. I have a new power window motor but I have no clue how to place it in the door. The window is off the track also. Does anybody have a picture how this is supposed to go in. Thanks

my understanding is you have to remove the regulator from the door to replace the window motor, you have to remove the guide track at the rear of the window and remove clips so you can slide the retainers out of the track, prop the window up and remove the regulator and motor. I believe that's how it goes. I have my passenger door assembly to do.
