Center console carpet?

I have located the parts to add the center console option and bucket seats into my 70 but I have a question for any of you that may have one. On the sides of the console from the area beneath the chrome trim to the floor, is this area carpeted with the floor or is it a separate piece of carpet. If it’s separate is it a left a right and the rear or is it a piece that wraps around the whole console?

It's fully carpeted with one wrap-around piece.

Thanks, do you know if the carpet piece is glued direct to the console or if it has some type of backing?

It's glued directly. All the exposed edges are bound with serging
