64 Black Bird

Post by vpaolillo »

This is my 64 Black Bird - Loretta. Only had her about two years. Running and driving. Mostly Original: sheet metal, engine, drive train, and interior.

Looks great! Nice to see the zebra gone! Lots of work getting Loretta's interior back into shape I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.

That black & white interior is sharp
Flairbird looks good in black, and the wheels look great, too.
What is that with the high beams?

Are there any newbies out there wanting to show off? Dont't be shy just show it!
A 66 Thunderbird is cool. A Sapphire Blue 66 is a beautiful car. The 428 engine completes the package.

Wow Phil, I love it. The red centers on the wheels look awesome next to the black paint. I am surprised that someone went thru all the trouble to put those air vents in the dash when they could have found an A/C car and used the stock A/C grill. It looks great as it is right now so get out and enjoy it.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it. As far as the A/C vents, I actually prefer them to factory - - - they kind of match the Oil, Gas, Temp and Alt gauges. Weather is really nice here this weekend, gonna get out and cruise a little. C ya

This is my brother's 1964 Thunderbird Landau in Wimbledon White. It is in the process of having the rear quarters replaced due to rust. One of the pics is of the new quarters when they arrived from California.

She's a real snowbird! This was the day I bought her back from a 12 year separation from our family. It was a happy day.
