Re: Door and trunk seals
The ones I got from Mac's haven't held up well. For some reason they keep tearing at the front of the door.
I think I'll try a set from Steele next time.

Re: Door and trunk seals
All Dennis Carpenter seals are at or above OEM spec. Chinese replicas I've gotten stuck with (and since replaced with Carpenter) have ranged from poor quality to completely ill-fitting. Some Tbird vendors (Macs!) only sell the cheap stuff. Some carry both. Ask.

Re: Door and trunk seals
I've got Carpenter in the trunk (convertible) and Steele on the doors. I like the Steele better, but I haven't seen their trunk kit.

Re: Door and trunk seals
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new 'Bird. Got a photo of the car?
Gas tanks are readily available from the usual suppliers. I have a list here (though it may be a little out of date: http://thunderbird.seebart.org/resources
Finding a seat will be difficult and a good dashboard even more so. For these, I'd keep an eye on eBay and Craigslist. Bird Nest and some of the other dedicated Thunderbird parts houses have a stock of used parts. They're not listed online, so you'll need to call. If they don't have what you need, they can sometimes refer you to someone who does.
Good luck with the car!
