Here is a little eye candy for you guys. Notice the date, this was invoiced nearly 6 weeks after production had started. there is no way this car was first off the line!

Tanx for posting the 100001 gate release sheet.
Now for a few ??
How did you come by this sheet? Do you have the bird or just the gate release sheet?
Neat piece of info on the first serial numbered bird. If you have the bird what is the build date on the data plate and what is the DSO?
I have added it to the data base as there was another convert. that claimed to be 100001 but that is obviously wrong.
Do you have any other gate release sheets or ROT sheets you could share with me as would luv to add to the data base?

I think it was Alan T. who commented on another thread that often early production cars get sent to the in plant warranty penalty box to sort out issues before being released for sale. So, it could be both first produced and sold later.
