They just had the same cloth reinforcement in them.

I have a spare set of original ribbed rubber hoses in the pole barn to take in for comparison (I think they're off a '63 or a '64) - one of them may be cut to get a pic of what the cloth-reinforced one looks like in cross-section as well as size.

won't make any difference anyway, they won't change what they use when they make them
best I can do is to get them to make them directionally correct from a set I have that is known factory original
I am doing that now with the 58-60.

PLUS on top of this coming home from a show over Labor Day weekend my brake pedal went to the floor without stopping the car!! Not sure if it's the master cylinder, a bad brake flex line or ? as the MC reservoir was full and I could pump the brakes up after the pedal dropped to the firewall (I know, time for another thread/topic). I now feel like I bought a lemon instead of a peach...and no time to work on either issue right now.
Alan,

It's often possible to get the lid up without unbolting the cylinders. What are the symptoms when you try to raise the lid? Do you hear anything running, motors clicking, etc.? Have you tried using a jumper on the deck up relay?

If you don't have a puddle of brake fluid under the car, it's likely the MC bought the farm. You can unbolt it from the booster, pull it forward, and check for brake fluid in the booster without disconnecting the brake lines.
