Heater control valve

Post by jereklein »

My heater control valve failed again after just about one year. I just ordered the manual replacement. I was wondering though if i could temporarily just remove it and put a plug fitting in its place so i could drive it? Thanks.

You can remove it and plug the hole. You will also need to plug the vacuum line and heater hose so they don’t leak. Drive it like that as long as you want, you just won’t have heat.
