Air Duct Refinishing

Post by IRONBEAST »

I'm getting ready to refinish the air ducts on my '57. Are the seams of the duct welded together or just crimped? I'm just thinking how they might fare in a powder coating oven? Also should I do anything to the inside? Any experiences appreciated!

Thanks!

Had mine sandblasted inside and out then powder coated inside and out and look perfect.

Thanks for the responses. I'll take a visit to my powder coater and see what they can do....didn't know you could get inside to blast , worth a try!
