Cleaning Wire Wheels

Post by Bud1941 »

Is there an easier way to clean wire wheels than using shoe laces. It seems as if I’ll be cleaning them forever.

Get a thin bottle brush that will go between the spokes. Dry off using a leaf blower or compressor.

I would NOT use Wesley's white tire bleach cleaner, It's known to eat the chrome from spoke rims on cars and motorcycles rims.

an SOS pad for the white walls, I use window cleaner for the wheels, rinse real well and blow dry with compressed air. my wheels are relatively new and the dirt will rinse right off.
