55 tbird Shifter linkage 3 speed OD

I got a 55 as a basket case and am having trouble getting the shifter rods and levers correct. Could someone post a picture of the shifter side of a OD with the correct lever positions. Have looker everywhere for a picture. Thanks

If you have the Thunderbird Parts Illustrated Manual these is a schematic on Page 44

I have the illustration but the arms do not seem to match the rods which do match the illustration.
