Well this brings my question full circle then. If they keep copies why not release a copy to a potential buyer?

I think the reason they don't release the copies is because than one person would buy a copy, post it online, and there would be no need to buy the original. Marti Auto Works sells copies of the gate releases, I have personally bought probably 10-15 copies of cars that interested me for one reason or another.
