Car Cover Recommendation

Post by skaggs »

So we finally took the plunge! We will soon have a 1956 T-Bird of our very own. It will be winter stored, but when not in storage, it will be kept inside our garage port. So a good car cover will be a must! Does anyone have suggestions for quality car covers for our Bird?? Thank you.

I recently purchased the TAC01F Tan Cotton Flannel Cover from Larry's Thunderbird & Mustang Parts for my '57.

In my opinion, It's high quality, fits good, and the flannel is very considerate of the paint. I'm very satisfied with it and recommend this cover for an inside application only.

I just received the CarCapsule Showcase I ordered. It is the perfect place to store my '56 Thunderbird in the garage. I like the fact that the car is visible, and the Showcase protects the car from dust and condensation. I also don't have the hassle of taking a car cover on and off. Nothing touches the paint and filtered air is circulated constantly sothe car remains just detailed clean. Great product!
