1956 engine question
The 1956 VIN has a P in it. The Bird has a 2-barrell. Is it possible that the 2-bbl is original?

Hi Dillon14,
All 56 T-Birds had a 4 barrel carburetor. Your car came from the factory with a 312 CID engine.

The 1956's with the 292 engine had a "M" engine code. As Lew stated all 1956's had a 4 bbl. carb.
