gauge upgraade

working on this little project today. I didn't want the ammeter anymore. There was brown coloring all over the inside of the gauge pod that looked like arcing/sparking.

that looks like a clean install. How are they mounted? Did you use a holesaw to cut the center out and mount from the front?

I want to do the same thing! How hard was it to install them into the stock bezel?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the OP has been around since the original post. Hopefully someone who has done something similar will join in.

To me it looks like he removed all the original gauge guts, possibly painted the inside a matte or satin black, then installed the autometer gauges without using the original glass on top. Be a good project to buy a gauge setup from a parts car and then play around.
