Hello,
currently the voice of my bird is based on a glasspack exhaust. I would like to change it to a deeper full sound. Noticable but not too loud (Not like a race car). What I found meanwhile:
1. Flowmaster with moderate sound
https://www.amazon.com/Flowmaster-12018 ... B00GBSWRI8
2. Flowmaster with more agressive sound
https://www.amazon.com/Flowmaster-12012 ... XK5M2EGN74
So I need a recommendation, has anyone experience with available exhaust systems? Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Dynomax...
The size is 2", probably it is stock size. Thank you in advance.
Regards, Guenther

Re: New exhaust for my bird
FWIW, here is a link to what a TBird sounds like with headers, 2 1/4" tubing, small Vibrant resonators and 4" X 18" Magnaflow mufflers. I was going for more of a straight-through design for mufflers and resonators with a sound more similar to glass-packs but a little quieter. Just my preference. My engine has a slighty-more-aggressive-than-stock camshaft but I don't know if it makes a significant difference in the exhaust note. Good luck.

@Bill
Thank you for the soundfile. Unfortunately the technical basis is not comparable. My bird has 2" tubes and in the middle of the car are no mufflers, only an H-tube. The only two mufflers are at the end. So the total "sound system" is reduced of 2 mufflers at the back.
Would like to submit some pics, but I am not able to do it.

You need an account at photobucket or something similar to post pics.
