I'm new to this forum, I've done a search without any results to see if it's possible to buy the factory electric deck lid latch, or is there an after market latch that will work? I want to shave the cylinder lock and chrome piece from the deck lid... I have a 1965 T/B...

The factory remote trunk release was vacuum operated, anything involving shaving the outer cover is going to be custom. good luck, Bob C
