Hi All,
This is a recently imported 1962 Thunderbird from the US to Australia. Does anyone recognise what this conversion donor might be?
I do know the hubs are 5mm oversize from the original drums.
Thanks
David

Re: 1962 Thunderbird Disk Conversion
Do you have any documentation of any kind with the car? Maybe you can pull part numbers or casting numbers off of some part of the disc brake system and someone can help figure it out using that information. Let us know. Is the bolt pattern the same as standard Ford? Is the bolt pattern something different (Maybe GM?)

Re: 1962 Thunderbird Disk Conversion
There are conversion kits in the USA that use a hodge-podge of parts. I think many of them use early GM calipers from Cadilacs, rotors from Ford Grenada's and bearings from I don't know where. That may or may not be the case with what you have.
Hope this helps at least a little.

Could be anyone's really but the rotors do look like the one's offered by Auto City Classic.
