My '61 Thunderbird build. Hadn't built a strong FE in years. Really enjoyed again! This old Bird is powered by a '70 scratch block 428CJ +.030, Forged pistons, H-beam rods, Milodon oil pan and windage tray, Lunati 20501 cam (427/425) solid, Dove valve train. Two Competition series 500 cfm AFB's sit on a Edelbrock manifold ( for hood clearance) , Sanderson headers, 2200 stall converter and a C6. All with PS,PB and A/C !! Lotsa Fun !!!

Very nice Okie - I have Sanderson heads coming over here soon. Did you do the disc brake front end as well - what wheels fitted there?
thanks

Re: My '61 Build
Hi Graeme
Just saw these headers cheap. Do they look the same as your Sanderson ones?

They must be made in China.

Re: My '61 Build
Yes they are Chinese. I know someone who purchased a set since they were cheap but he had to hack them up to make them fit.
I don't know the outcome... Think he gave up on them.
I would not bother, Sanderson look good so far for me.

Thanks Graeme. Thought they were to cheap to be true.
