Looking to acquire a very, very nice T'bird to take on extended tours and rallies. A thoroughly restored car that has been de-bugged would be perfect. Modified cars (period correct) are fine. I am in the Chicago area.

My father is selling his 1955 Thunderbird which he had brought up to Canada from New Jersey a few years ago. The car came from Tennessee I think. He's had it gone over. There are some tasteful modifications on it which makes it more driveable including 12V conversion and disc brakes on the front. He has a NOS soft top yet to be installed, a paint matched hard top and more. Its an original v8 with a 3 speed manual transmission.
