Fuel pump voltage 97 T-bird

Post by bwssr »

Does any one know what the fuel pump voltage is at the fuel pump for a 97 Thunderbird? I am getting 6.9 volts and barely any pressure at the fuel rail
I was in the army stationed at Ft. Lewis in November 1973. I bought my 65 Thunderbird near there and was hooked on Thunderbirds ever since.

You should be able to determine that by checking the voltage at the fuel pump relay socket. I can't imagine it not being a 12 volt pump. good luck, Bob C
It's gonna be cool when it's done
And now it's really cool !!

Tried putting 12 volts to the pump. No go. Looks like I will be taking the gas tank off.
