Removing the LOWER dash 77-79 - Ideas?

Post by 7879Tbird »

Hi, Gang. I'm oing to be swapping interiors and the only place I get stymied is the lower dash. After the complete upper dash, gauges, glove box door/liner, switches, bezels... are out, Im not sure what is the best plan of attack to remove the lower dash.

Any insight into the best practices?

Thanks in advance.

I would first take out the front seats for leg room and easier access. Need a bright day and a good light.
Should be straight forward. Unhook the heater control device, radio, radio antennae connection, headlight switch, and the various screws and nuts (to firewall), steering wheel panel. Tell us how went !
