Re: Battery Availability
I don't understand the desire for more CCAs if you have standard equipment. Unless you have amp drawing accessories like electric fans or huge amps the 450 CCA batteries should be good enough. After all they were used Throughout the line as standard equipment. This one i'am looking at has 1000CCA !

Re: Battery Availability
I found another alternative this will fit in the battery tray of my car. https://www.battsys.com/centennial-commercial-heavy-duty-battery-c-31-10ap-group-31?___store=battsys The only issue I see is that you will have to re-rout the cables as the posts are reversed VS the #32. I would flip the batte...

Re: '57 Continental Kit Upper Catch and Lower Rests
Looking at the detail of the add on continental kit there's plenty of thought behind it. IS the exhaust ponting coming down instead through the rear bumper. I still like the clean look from the back of the car.

That picture is the best continental package on a 57 I have seen that looks original. Most have the rear end over extended that looks fony.

Re: '57 Continental Kit Upper Catch and Lower Rests
I'am sorry to burst your bubble. Ford NEVER made a continental kit for the 57 Thunderbird. BUT there were aftermarket ones who made them and How many I don't know. I'm sure someone will chime in.

Well yes and no Ward, The car won twice at the Geneva Illinois Concours D'Elegance once in 2009 and 2021. I have won quite a few awards since my purchased the car. The car has nothing to prove nor do I. I just want to keep the car as a showpiece. If I can't find a group 32 battery then a ordinary on...

Re: Battery Availability
Follow up to the AGM battery tender I bought. The battery tender did not work as expected. The battery is totally dead. Not the fault of the battery tender product. So I have to go with a group 32 regular battery non period correct.
