When you say you mount the drum to the hub and then place the nut on backwards and cut them, can you ellaborate on this please.

Yes I understand that, but here in Australia I haven't found anybody who does this. Do mechanics or brake repairers in the USA swage the brake drum to the hub? I made up a tool to rivet the drum to the hub and then have the drum machined to run true. Then there is the problem with different thicknes...
