I may need to replace the turn signal switch in my '69. Neither of the cornering lights are working, and I'm pretty sure that both relays are good. Bulbs are new. Car as Tilt and cruise. any thing I should look out for when changing the switch?
Thanks,

Re: Finding '70
Most likely a typo, but 0 would be 1970 not 1979.Alan H. Tast wrote:SN breakdown:

You might want to try the Glamorbird list at Yahoo groups. Someone there may own it. Also, keep an eye on eBay. The 67-71's appear quite often.

Tape
I've been working on the windows of my '69 Fordor. In the parts manual they show 2 pieces of tape between the weatherstrip retainer and roof. Does anyone know if this tape is stiff or soft and spongy?
Thanks,

Looking for the control switch, knob, and bezel for the automatic headlight dimmer. I can also use the headlight switch from a Mark III with the automatic dimmer option.

Cornering light
I was looking through my '69 wiring diagrams to see how a automatic headlight dimmer would hook up. While going through the lighting diagram, I remembered that my left cornering light doesn't work. I replaced the bulb with no help. The wire diagram shows it to be a direct wire to the turn signal swi...

weatherstrip manufacture
Anybody know who manufactured the roof rail weatherstrip for Ford back in 67 -71? Does anyone know who reproduces it today? The reproduction stuff doesn't work without a lot of shimming, adjustments etc... If I could find the person who does the reproduction weatherstrip, I'd like to let him know of...

window question again
I'm still working on my Thunderbirds window.. With the window out, I can run the motor from (down) to up and it runs very smooth. When I run it from (up) to (down), it starts to slow down about mid travel. By the time it gets all the way down, it's noticeably Slower. Do you think it could be a moto...

Window adjustment
Another question about the windows on my '69 Fordor. I took out both front windows and had only the passenger redone, as the glue was broke. I was going do redo the glue on the driver window, but it was still good, so I left it alone. I also put new reproduction waeather strip on. My problem now is ...
