Also...has anyone ever tried to figure out how many are left today, particularly out of the 1,427 SR's built for '62? I'm guessing there are fewer than 1,000 out there, but who knows...

That thought crossed my mind. I need to check into that. I am hoping to find a way to put it on blocks, do all the engine and interior preservative stuff and cover it up, but a museum might be a good alternative.
