the Bird with that tire carrier was that like a option i have never seen one with it ???

heres mine still work to be done but slowly she will be a flying like the birds do best. just got new chrome bumbers front and rear waiting to install.

ok then sense its normal im golden then was thinking maybe the wireing might be messing up

ok changed spark plug wires and oil today and started it maken sure it started and i some how touched the (-) minus / neg side for the coil an i got shocked done a test again maken sure it was it yes im getting shcoked so my question is is this right should i get shocked on the - side when car is ru...

fair enough putting new lines on this week end and just maken sure

if ur changeing the lines on the front only do u still have to bleed the back ones also once the lines on fronts are changed ?

spectre please look at my topic as i had the same issues and the fix its listed there .. hats happen is the coil is runing out of power can hold the voyls casue its not getting it running the red coil wire is the fix

buy it and rebuild the other at a later date and drop the other funds u save from buying one allready done in to something else the bird needs . u can allways rebuild the other motor later as long as u keep it

UPDATE UPDATE ::: IM Happy once again i can live now so after sending the car to the Mechanic he found that the . the accel point eliminator kit was bad and killed the coil .. went back full stock points and condenior. bought it back home installed new wires ,plugs , water pump. belts . .front brake...

i allways use tinypic its free and u can resize there there have like 10 options to pick from

so it seems im still not getting 12 volts to the coil he put a 12 volt and a push button starter and it fired right up ran fine pulled the wire off and poof cuts off .... so hes going to trace it out but one thing .. hes saying to install a MSD Pro Choice Electronic Ignition Box 6A 6200, with 3 wire...

im so down in the dumps and crying right now hurts seeing her on the back of a flat bed but hope she will be driven home soon .will keep u guys updated

well shes going to the shop for some one with more knowledge than i can do .i have tried every thing .other than put a bullet in her im at the point of breaking ...

so update i guess called a buddy of mine he came over we ran a fresh wire from coil to starter seloid it seemed to work started fine we adjusted the timeing and carb yet again but once it runs for like 2 to 5 minutes it just cuts off like u turned the key off .. any one have a clue what to check nex...
