My thought as well. I picked them up at the Carlisle show, but didn't want to unwrap them and inspect them (didn't think it was necessary) only to re-wrap them for the long ride home. Unwrapped them when I got home and found the bubbles. Hope to have it back within a week or two so I can get it back...

I got the bumpers home on Sunday, but found some bubbles in the left front bumperette. One phone call to Mitch at Labrandi's and it's back in PA getting re-plated. The rest is perfect! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Not sure if it holds true, but several references cite early 57 birds as having the medallion stamped into the vinyl in the middle of the seat back. Later models did not have the medallion.
