Re: SHOCK TOWER BRACES...
What year is your car? Those braces, if fitted on a 64 will allow the use of and 72 Mustang drum/drum master. For 65 or 66, it will depend on the booster you have. There's lots of info around about the choices you have. Terry 64HT Terry, When I looked into this several years ago none of the dual M/...

Re: SHOCK TOWER BRACES...
Do you have a dual MC? I think I do, but it's not assembled and working. I've adapted a 2015 Corvette M/C to the factory booster. It's the only thing I found that will clear the tower brace. It's white plastic/nylon which I don't like the look of, but still a good trade-off to get a dual M/C. I'd p...

Re: Interior chrome: WHERE CAN I GET IT?
Alan is exactly right... Most chrome shops won't take pot metalwork in since once it's stripped you never know how badly it's pitted. I used Ogden Chrome/Plating, Ogden, UT. They were very expensive, they took a long time, but their work is show quality and were wonderful to work with. Jose the mana...

Re: Underside openings on hood...
Scott,
That's the strangest idea Ford ever had... then is it a spring compressor? Be interesting to see a pic of whatever it is. There some be something unique about the front suspension to have to manufacture your own tool...
Thanks, Scott...

Re: Electrical Schematics...
Patrick,
Thanks for the lead, I ordered one. It will be interesting to see how comprehensive and complete the schematic is. I figure you get enough information, sooner or later you'll figure it out. I have an avionics buddy who's very good and I'll see if I can enlist services...

Re: Electrical Schematics...
Allan, Thanks for your thoughtful reply... I didn't see any schematics in the '65' Thunderbird Shop Manual... there are schematics for the convertible top, am I missing something? The blue Electrical manual would be a help, but it's not a schematic if you are re-wiring the entire car.

Re: 3 CARB MANIFOLD...
Here's what I ended up with: 1. Holly 2 barrel carbs jetted to my engine requirements. 2. Progressive all Stainless Steel linkage 3. Heim bearing linkage where needed. 4. Thermal barrier applied to the underside of the manifold. 5. All threaded opening have been Helicoiled. I furnished and made the ...

Does anyone publish full-size schematics for the '65' Thunderbird? I have the Electrical Assembly Manual but would like a larger format just dedicated to the circuitry.
