Re: Brake Problem
Looking at the pictures my 63 was set up with no adjusters and I installed them when I went threw mine. I'll have to agree with replacing the brake flex lines. They are cheap and if nothing else a good idea on an old car. I did not find the angled Wheel cyl when I did mine so I knicked my knuckles w...

Re: tilt away column
I still think that taking 2 strips of metal And moving the whole thing back would be an easy try. It works for me and lowers / moves back the seat. You can go to tractor suppy get 2 flat bars and 8 bolts and do this easily. If you sold the car you can easily remove it. This is not this first car I h...

Re: &*$% heater control cable
I think you are going a little overboard removing the seat and consoul. May I suggest removing a little dash trim. I broke my temp control
Cable. I removed it pulled the cable out
Of the housing lubed and cut it shorter.
Took needle nose vise grips made a new loop and reinstalled it.

Re: Rag Joint Replacement
I purchased mine at Aline. I'm in austin Texas. I'm sure any good parts store will Have it. Just watch some of the bolt options in the kit. You do not want to bind it every time you swing the wheel. I have found that there are a lot of parts still available at the local auto parts. The key is having...

Re: Rag Joint Replacement
I'm not sure I understand your question. I did mine recently , took the hold down bolt off each side of the groves shafts. Slid the coloum Back a little. Put the joint on the bench. Used a grinder and a punch to remove the pins and replaced / installed bolts. I was carefull to mark things coming apa...
