Another option might be to have Classic Auto Air (calssicautoair.com) restore your original lines. The can refurbish the metal fittings and install new hoses.

I suppose if one is trying to replicate the factory fuse link it would be good to also pay attention to the terminals, their connection to the wire and any writing or numbering on the wire. I don't have personal experience with '64 and '65 TBirds, but I'm certain that '66's had 2 wires: one supplying power to the base of the bulb by way of a wire connected to the base of the center of the socket, and a second one with a cleated washer one one end which is attached under one of the nuts...
