Ed,
Another option might be to have Classic Auto Air (calssicautoair.com) restore your original lines. The can refurbish the metal fittings and install new hoses.

Re: junction block on inner fender well
I suppose if one is trying to replicate the factory fuse link it would be good to also pay attention to the terminals, their connection to the wire and any writing or numbering on the wire. If you look at the photos I included in my 2 posts of 8-22-22 you will see that the diameter of the terminals ...

Re: Fender mounted turn signal indicator
I don't have personal experience with '64 and '65 TBirds, but I'm certain that '66's had 2 wires: one supplying power to the base of the bulb by way of a wire connected to the base of the center of the socket, and a second one with a cleated washer one one end which is attached under one of the nuts...

Re: 8 Track
If you want to retain all the 8-track features plus upgrade the sound quality and add FM and USB/MP3 capability, I can't say enough good things about both Retro Radio Restoration and Barry’s 8 Track. One restored and upgraded the radio/8-track in my '66 and the other in my '68 Both worked perfectly ...

Ghost..., There are photos of 2 harnesses in my latest posting in the forum's For Sale section under the heading "Large collection of '64 to '66 parts--Updated list". The posting contains two links, one of which will take you to a folder full of photos. Scan down to the sub-folders titled ...

Re: Driver's side door mirror
I had the arm rests on my '68 rebuilt by Just Dashes. They were perfect EXCEPT the joy stick for left outside mirror was not going to fit without some "help". The location and diameter of the hole were ok, but the distance between the bottom (interior) and upper (exterior) surfaces was too...

Re: Large collection of '64 to '66 parts--Updated list
OOPS The links didn't copy correctly, so here's a corrected version: Here are recently updated files listing a large collection of Flair Bird parts that I accumulated during the restoration of my ’66 convertible. They almost all came from ’66 TBirds, but many also fit ’64 and ’65 models. Rather than...

Re: Starting issues
Ed, The only thing the "switch" on the steering column does on a C6-eqiped '66 is route vacuum to the emergency brake release mechanism when the shift lever is moved out of Park. Having said that, Terry could still be on the right trail. As the attached photo shows, there are two small con...
