Re: Replacing A/C hoses
The refrigerant lines don't run on the passenger side, vacuum lines do. Taking out the dash is no picnic, but servicing the A/C system under there is no small task either. Are you sure you need new lines?

My Tbird is going to Long Island
After a couple of years going back and forth, this spring I decided it was time to pass my car on. We had moved to the "thumb" of Michigan, very rural and lots of space but a tough place to drive a classic car. I put it in an online auction, I'm happy with what it brought. The new owner is...

Thanks Terry, you saved me a cut and paste. The light and wiring are clearly shown in the electrical manual.

Re: Fender mounted turn signal indicator
There is no ground wire, the lamp grounds to the fender. The only wire to the indicator goes from under the fender through a grommet, and into the engine compartment. good luck, Bob C

Re: Using Enviro Safe R12a
I've used it in my car and several cars I've repaired. It cools great, and has easy to live with pressures. I guess it depends on how bad is your leak, fixing it would probably be cheaper than pumping refrigerant in. JMO, Bob C

Re: Ignition Coil, Oil vs Epoxy?
My thoughts are you are back-feeding the ignition circuit with 12 volts, which would keep the car running and smoke a stock coil at the same time. Keep looking! Good luck, Bob CThoughts?

Re: 63 battery won't hold a charge
here are two videos that may help. You'll notice the young guy has a modern voltage regulator and the old Ford video uses a mechanical regulator. They are both OK to use, Ford made them backwards compatible. I always use a old style test light, they draw current and won't lie to you. Good luck, Bob ...

Re: Can Mercon V be used for the convertible hydraulic pump.
You probably won't find type A but you can find type F, which is what you want to use unless you know the trans has been overhauled. If the clutches have been replaced Dexron is fine, but type F won't hurt them either. JMO, Bob C
