Re: Floods after fill up

JT I can't remember if you have a electric or mechanical pump. If electric I just looked at a youtube video of a guy who was having the same problems you had, boiling fuel and changes in fuel pressure, going lean at idle. He installed a T piece near his carby and ran a return line to his tank and th...

Re: AIR CONDITIONING

The Vintage Air system has electric control panel conversion kits that attach to the original slide controls on the AC panel. I think you would have to use a Gen4 AC kit and match up a control kit with something like a 64-66 Mustang possibly.

Re: Sound deadening opinions wanted.

I used Dynamat on the floors and some other similar type of sound deadener that I got from my local Jaycar store on the inner fenders instead of the old original fibre type material. I've also got some aluminum backed foam for the firewall under dash. Haven't been out on the road as yet so not sure ...

Re: Exhaust Manifold Gasket

It can be done at home. Start off by putting some sort of penetrating oil on the bolts. Do it over a few days as it is easy to break them off, and if that happens the job then becomes even bigger.

Re: removing light bulbs over wiper/washer and R & L air vent controls

Are they the globes in the metal canister with a slot cut into them? If so they get a bit of corrosion on the surface and holds them tight together. Just get a couple pairs of pliers, twist and pull at the same time. They will come apart. Maybe use some tape on the aluminum so as not to damage them.
