Anyone else have any luck? I've got a Holley Terminator X Stealth 2x4 that I'll be installing, and am also having difficulty finding a tank.

Apologies for digging up this old thread, but I'm looking to install traction bars on my 62 Convertible and the link doesn't seem to include any Tbirds outside of 55-57. Does anybody have a resource for our application?

I realize this is a very old thread, but did this project ever get completed? I'd love to do this on my 62 (though I have zero skill in this department and would need a shop to do it), and am very interested in seeing how it all turned out.

I have a 62 that I want to do the exact same things to lol, but I'm at least 6mo or more away from beginning that process. I look forward to following your progress.

Has anyone successfully cut out the shock towers? I have a 62 and am looking at slowly building (due to budget) a 427 SOHC from Pond, but as you can see here , the SOHC is 5 inches wider than your typical 427 and would not in anyway fit the stock engine bay. Is this a lost cause or is there some sor...
