17x7 up front 17x8 in the rear i did use a 1/4" spacer in the front.

I've had a leak and fumes from the doughnut gasket at the fill tube/tank and fumes from the cap gasket. These cars arent sports cars. You shouls see what diff. ratio you have. Also there is a doughnut gasket at the filler neck to tank area, also check the filler cap gasket

What position is the gear selector in? if you have a cruise-o-matic you should be in the second position then you will start from 1st gear. the 1st position from N will start you in 2nd gear.

could be related to tire size. I had a car that did that and it was caused by the sidewall bulging out and loosening and then popping the hub cab off.

Make sure you break that cam in correctly!!! Use High Zinc oil and a breakin supliment. I wiped a cam by failing to realize they pulled zinc out of most oil. Valvoline racing oil has zinc as well as some royal purple and amsoil etc.. I run royal purple with zinc now at every oil change. you'll want ...
