White seat belts for 65
Hi,
Looking for a set of whte seat belts for a '65.
I'm building a daily driver, so am not too concerned about being real original.
Want to have retractors in the front.
I don't see any holes in the frame for mounting them in the rear,
Were they not installed in the rear?
Thanks!

Questions about the Fasten Seat Belt light on console
Hi, I removed the console and carpet of my '65. Found the connector for the (missing) driver side seat belt retractor, but not a connector for one on the passenger side. Question 1: were some/all not wired to have the passenger side seat belt connected to the light on the console? I've read a litle ...

Easier to replace windshield with dash out?
Hi,
I'm planning to replace the windshield of my '65 restoration at some point, but am about to remove the dash.
Is it a lot easier to replace the windshield with the dash out, or does it make much difference?
Thanks,
Randy

Answer: Re: How to repair windshield washer pump switch?
I figured it out.
Hold the rear connector with a pliers, then CAREFULLY unscrew the tip of the plunger.
Maybe need to gently turn it with another pliers.
See photos.

How to repair windshield washer pump switch?
I found my current windshield washer pump switch, which is cracked, and can find sources of new switch bodies.
Does the new body come with any hint of how to move the innards out of it and into the new one?
Else, can someone give me a hint?
Thanks!

Re: actual picture of rubber seals on front splash shields
Did you figure out where the new rubber seals go?
I'm working on it, too, and could provide some photos to help.
Let me know.

Source for thin plastic domes inside rear bumper?
Hi,
Does anybody know of a source for those thin plastic domes that cover the bulb connectors inside the rear bumper?
The assembly manual calls them 'grommets'.
C4SB-14603-L for left side and -K for right side.
I can't find them in the usual catalogs.
I have a few that are cracked.

Re: led with tail lights
Dunk67, did the LED bulbs you use in turning signals work right out of the package, that is, without adding in-line resistors to make the blinking work?

Accelerator Linkage Rod Length for Holley 4160 Carb Swap?
Just about finished replacing the 2-barrel carb on my '65 (I'm guessing there was an engine swap by a previous owner) with a shiny new Holley 4160 and discovered that my accelerator linkage rod is too short. I guess that makes sense since a 2-barrel is shorter from front to rear than a 4 barrel, so ...

Questions about the intake manifold.
Hi, I'm halfway (I hope) through replacing my 2 barrel intake manifold with a 4 barrel intake and noticed a couple of things: 1. Looking at the passenger side head, there is a port for coolant in front of/to the left of the #1 cylinder port and behind/to the right of the #4 cylinder. I expected to s...

Replacing nipples on carb spacer?
I need a 4 barrrel carb spacer because i'm replacing the 2 barrel intake and carb on my '65 (I don't know how they got there. Previous owner engine swap, I guess). I see a few on eBay that have quite rusty corroded looking nipples for the water hoses and wonder if they can be removed/replaced. Are n...

Oversized replacement for interior door handle cups?
A few months ago I saw that somebody was selling what looked to be replacement cups for the interior door handles/armrests. The picture looked like the new cup fit into the armrest, but had a larger lip that covered an inch (?) or so of the top of the armrest around the cup. I assume this is intende...

Hood clearance if swapping intake manifold and carb?
Hi, My '65 has a 2 bbl carb from an engine swap by a previous owner. I would like to upgrade it with an Edelbrock 2105 'Performer' intake manifold and Holley 4160 'Street Warrior' carb. I have a couple of questions: 1. Does the bolt spacing of the Holley carb match that of the Edelbrock 2105? I assu...
