intermittent wiper's not working on my 73 bird.

Like the title says. If some can remember how the old wipers work, mine are not working properly. Its the dash style knob, two clicks to the right, and you get slow and fast. a click to the left is the intermittent side of the switch. All I get is slow speed on that side. Also, when I used to switch...

Did you put your valve covers back on?

How do the valve stem seals look?

You should be able to tell if some are missing or broken up, by looking through the springs....I changed mine out, and it was pretty easy...just gotta be fast.

Re: New Fuel Tank Dealer

Where would i go/call for a new fuel tank for my 74? check it out, when I got my 73, I noticed someone had changed the entire fuel system. The tank has 71 Torino written on it. So, I believe theres not many changes our cars, so, you might have more luck looking for a Torino gas tank instead. Now, w...

Mr.Wolf wrote:have you just replaced the master cylinder or both the master cylinder and the brake booster?
Hey Nick, all I replaced up top was the master cylinder.
I had to change the rear wheel cylinders as well, they were leaking bad/unrepairable.

Anyway, when you gonna do the brakes on yours?

I've had this car for almost 2 years now. For the past 20ish months or so, I have done hardly nothing to the car.....except new ignition, and an air filter. This car has practically needed everything. Ive replaced all 4 tires Ive also done all the ignition....plugs, points, wires, cap, rotor. It has...

Does the car use a relay for the ignition?
If so, it way be sticking in a closed postion...which in turn might be whats keeping the car running.

Well, I've still got the 73....shes just about road worthy. I've got to finish the brakes(hopefully tomorrow), and still change all the hoses. I also need to change the tranny, and rear end fluid as well. I replaced all the ignition on the car(it still had the original plugs and wires). Got all the ...
