Re: Pusher fan
I was looking that a puller fan is better so it doesn’t interrupt airflow at highway speeds. Any truth to that. I’m looking at getting a single 16”

Air Bag Suspension
Anyone have any links for a complete Air Bag suspension kit for the front and back that have worked for you? I have a 56 and recently, I've been entertaining installing one of these kits for better suspension and the ride height adjustment ability.

1956 continental kit
Hey Guys, Any tips in installing the spare tire covers? The car I bought had rust spots so I took the covers off--both sides along with the chrome wrap. I sanded off all the rust, primer, painted, clear coat, wet sanded, and rubbing and polishing compound. Was a lot of work. And of course, I go to p...

Re: Removal of Trunk Lock Cylinder Housing for 56
Thanks. I called a few lock smiths, most seem to want the barrel out, but they said they can do it for me. One locksmith, in particular said they may be able to get the key by the vin number.
fordrodsteve, the lock on the glove box, at least for the car I have, is in the dash, not the door.

Removal of Trunk Lock Cylinder Housing for 56
Hello Gentlemen, I do not have keys for my trunk. I crawled into the trunk enough to reach in and unbolted the latch. In doing so, I was able to open the trunk. I then unbolted the locking mechanism in the hopes of getting to the trunk lock cylinder housing. The goal is to take out the barrel so I c...

Re: Seat Hits Driver Door Arm Rest
Finally got my car back from a shop. And had a chance to take photos. I can now see the issue causing the contact. Seems like the seat back was not placed properly on the driver side (see third pic vs the first pic showing the passenger side). The seat back isn't all the way back. Also the driver si...

Re: Seat Hits Driver Door Arm Rest
yes, it's the seat back frame and yes it looks to be a tbird seat. And no, no bow in the door card/panel. The car is pretty much stock, straight, no rust and actually really nice, other than this issue. The interior was redone at some point as the previous owner had the original vinyl pieces in the ...
