filller tire for continental kit

Notice than some are using deflated 215/15 tire to fill up the cont kit.Has anyone tried a 670-15 farm alliance tire.They fit the standard car rim and are almost identical to a 670/15 car tire.Cost is around $65 which is quite economical compared to a coker tire.I have also been told that firestone ...

Re the installation of the door pillar W/striping.Istallation of this item requires removing the lower stainless inside window cover;the verticle cover and the outside top stainless cover piece. After u remove these parts u have access to an area for the W/strip replacement.This item takes about 30 ...

could not locate any source for 1956 ford sports car trim /sealer manual.Saw no place on NPD for t birds.Will wing it i guess.

guess i am loosing it.Ihave both the manuals u show.They seem to show the w/strip part but i see no description whatsoever re the installation>Ie how you actually go about installing the part.

installation of w/shield pillar w/strip

Has anyone ever installed the 02626 or 02627 w/strip pieces.I know they are attached by 4 screws.no glue.also a piece of the material goes between the window moulding.Is the piece made long to trim at the top? must the window moulding piece be removed or can the screws holding it simply be loosened....

Does the jack column open end slide into the forward clip? what is the length of the jack column;mine is 31 1/4 inches;seems a tad long to go from tail light area into clip;may not be original jack. any help is appreciated.Diagram of setup in trim manual is limited both in description and photograph...

does the end of the jack column slide into the upper clip on a 56? my jack column is 31 1/4 inches long and appears about 1 inch long to have room to slide into the upper clip.I may not have an original jack but it looks like the one i had on a 54 ford.I have a trim manual that has a picture of set ...

thanks to all helpful suggestions.I found the lamp wire,it was hiden up under the heater controls unit.

thanks;do u know if the green wire is coming to the radio from the wiring harness running parallel to the dash above the radio? am afraid i have had wire piranhas at work on my 56!Thanks again for info.

radio lamp wire location

Does anyone know how to locate lamp wire for radio?Seems to work thru rheostat since it dims with dash lights.If i knew wire color i could probably locate it with a voltmeter.thanks for any help.

would this manual address the installation of w/strip for w/shield pillar.Looks like some w/shield inner moulding needs to be loosened to slide lip of this w/stripping into slot.Thanks for any advice.

thanks for all the info.I think u have solved my problem re the cont tire;just deflate a radial tire.I have no tightening ban and no holes to indicate the cont ring had one.my band was just held on by friction for the last 40 years i have owned the car. re the rubber bumper ,looks like your rubber b...
