Heater/AC Groaning - 76 Thunderbird
Hi Guys- I have a weird issue with my heater and AC. Whenever I have my heat or AC turned on, when I accelerate the car while driving I hear a groaning noise. If I am maintaining speed - there is no noise. When I have the heat or AC turned off I have no noise. I thought it might be that air was in t...

Re: 1966 Interior Paint and Dye
I purchased leather seat covers and matching dye from Thunderbird Headquarters. Excellent quality. I dyed a console cover, changing it from green to white with no problems using their vinyl dye as well as freshening up the door panels. Drop them a line with your paint codes. Terry 64HT I don't know...

1966 Interior Paint and Dye
Hi Birders, My 66 Landau needs some touch up on the interior trim - like on the A pillar, the package tray, and the seat backs. The trim code is K8 - light beige with ivy gold appointments. https://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.net/phpBB3/download/file.php?mode=view&id=11511 Where can I find this p...

Re: 1966 63C Q Code 428 Emergency Flasher problem
I am just starting to troubleshoot my flasher issue. Glad to see your post! I am actually trying to get all the lights working in the overhead console - and I have - with the exception of the flasher. I replaced the bulb of course, and have a working bulb there - and have replaced the switch that ac...

Wanted: 1976 Creme and Gold Pinstriping
Hi folks - I have a shot in the dark :-). I have a 1976 Creme and Gold in gorgeous condition. Except the pinstriping is faded, and removed in some cases. Before having someone paint it - does anyone have either of these squirrelled away? It looks like brown and gold. pinstripe.JPG pinstripe2.JPG Ple...

Re: 1966 Windshield
Ahh! Good to know! Perhaps I need to buy the gasket myself first - it leaks already.
I'll hit up a few shops for comparison and see who might have done similar in the past.

1966 Windshield
Have you guys ever had to replace a windshield? I don' even know where to source one, let alone find someone to put it in.
Where did you buy one?
TIA
Larry

Re: Wheel Covers
I have 2 66 Tbirds, both have stock wheel covers. When I bought them all wheel covers were on. I had to pull them off for various reasons. After I did that, I can't seem to get the front ones to stay on. I even purchased some refurbs on Ebay. That worked on one car, but not on the other. I can only ...

Re: head light springs
Well, I forced mine on 2 headlights. On one of them, the adjustment screw came out completely, and the other just lost its grip for adjustment. I haven't figured out how to fix those yet - fortunately I rarely drive after dark!
So be careful!
