If the problem doesn't move with the coil swap, you can also move the injector to a different cylinder, or test the #2 driver/wiring with a NOID light. My guess is coil pack or the wire is your problem...injector/driver/ECM failures are not very common. Let us know what you find...

Lol...I jokingly call it a riding mower so my city and suburban friends can relate (until they see it in person). It's a 4WD 30hp diesel with hydrostatic drive, 72" bucket, with 72" finish mower. The rear tires are 'multi-tread'...they have a turf pattern but with real deep treads. Good gr...

Are you running those custom coil-overs in the front? Looks like it's pulling up pretty good. Congrats on the times and getting the beast back on the road / track!

I know of one so far...friend of my Dad's just traded in a '93 Bird for a Chrysler (who is matching the credit from what I've heard).

Oh, for '93 only the Super Coupe with auto trans and the V8 cars are eligible. The V6 cars get 20mpg, so there will still be some parts cars out there.

Great points Joe...especially #4! I'm going to be adding an enclosed trailer to the fleet some day, but I'm still keeping the open trailer for the "utility" trailering I seem to be doing a lot more of lately. Nothing beats an open trailer for versatility. I haul all kinds of stuff besides ...

I've used A-Len Radiator in Downers Grove before...good prices and service. There is also Rex, who has a shop in Bensenville and a new one in Downers Grove as well. However, I don't have any experience with them...

I've always used Comet or Bon Ami with a super stiff scrub brush on my whitewalls and have had great results...but as stated, sometimes it takes a few applications. I've also tries Westley's but I didn't care for it...still had to scrub to get decent results.

It was probably done by American Custom Coachworks in California...they are no longer a manufacturer and seem to only build limos now. Here's a '77 for sale out there that was done by them (although it's not in very good shape):

Except that a car should never be raised by the differential, with maybe the exception of independent rear suspensions where the differential is bolted to the subframe. Yet poeple do it all the time ::? Lifting a car as heavy as a T-Bird solely by the differential can bend the axles/tubes. They are ...

Hi Alan,
I'll be there with the Bird (and Bev this time) but as you know there's not much original stuff to document on it...it's full of modification examples though!

Excellent...that's good news, I think. '96 is COP right? If so, when one coil fails, there's usually a few more that follow. I had one go out on my Mark (and also in the F250) and both vehicles had two more fail within a few months of the first one. A whole set of 8 is $$$, but I would advise buying...

Well if Vic is going to Ohio, I guess I'll go to Minnesota then (pretty sure Bev is tagging along this time too).

Change the fuel filter and see if that helps. Do the cheap/necessary stuff first...
