Re: Anyone know what this part is?
Well they look okay. At least not some silly multi holes. But special washers? Like spacers?

Re: Anyone know what this part is?
15" Cragar's on my car with Mickey Thompson P225/70/R15 tires. Get a purpose fit wheel and dump the unilug. The look ugly with all the extra holes and it seems like it could be a weak point as well.

Re: Anyone know what this part is?
In the last picture the middle four pieces are the only pieces that go into the rear brake drums. One is the spreader bar that pushes the shoes apart when the parking brake is applied and the other is the lever that is connected to the parking brake cable itself. Also unilug wheels are crap. Replace...

Re: Anyone know what this part is?
Honestly it doesn't look like anything I could foresee as something needed. I just did the rear brakes on my 1969 and I'd imagine they are pretty much the exact same as yours.

Re: At a crossroad with my 1969 Thunderbird. Advice? Suggestions?
I had a 69 Tudor that I bought new . I loved that car so after 15 years I was going to have it painted and a mechanic friend had it on his lift and noticed the frame was crushing in the back where the lift pad was positioned. Also he looked further and the firewall was badly rusted below the heater...

At a crossroad with my 1969 Thunderbird. Advice? Suggestions?
So yeah... 5 months of hard work and about 6k in parts/labor (most of which) and my 1969 Thunderbird which I had to trailer home due to a myriad of mechanical problems due slipping transmission, brakes, suspension, exhaust etc... is now a car I can safely drive. Though now I am at a cross road. Down...

Re: Engine noise what is it?
I managed to get the piece out and was able to get a plug into the hole and tapped it in with a tiny children's hammer.

Engine noise what is it?
Okay so I finally got my new exhaust put on and now I can properly hear the engine. So now what could this noise be? Valve tap? Pinging? or maybe a vacuum leak?

Re: 1969 Ford Thunderbird
Old. I think i found a junkyard that has the trailing arms and control arm for $75 a piece. With stock measurements i can probably build a panhard bar. I could just give you my old bar if you wanted it. Probably savable if you cleaned it off. Though the bushings are pretty much shot. Pretty expensi...

What is causing the issue getting the dash bulbs out? Steering wheel getting in the way?

Re: 1969 Ford Thunderbird
I still recommend getting those replacements. Especially since you are building it for a racecar.
