Re: Strange Sequence of Events
Thank you for the information. I tried the easy thing first, I cleaned the battery terminals and the cable connectors and everything works fine.

Strange Sequence of Events
I ran the car for about 15 miles (everything was working). I turned it off but when I restarted it, it wouldn’t crank, click, or anything. Tapped the starter several times and eventually it restarted. But several electrical systems went out. Turn signals didn’t work, fuel, temp, oil gauges not worki...

Re: Wheel Covers
I found another thread here called stock wheel sizes, it looks like '65-'67 wheels have the same spec. And it turns out the wheel covers I have are actually '69 wheel covers. I'm not quite sure how they are different and how the specs relates to wheel covers fitting.

Wheel Covers
I have a ’65 Thunderbird but the wheel covers look like they are from a ’66. I wanted a different look so I got a set of ’67 wheel covers. Re: Springs - Suspention
I measured the body to the top of the wheel wells: LF = 26-9/16" LR = 22" RR = 22-3/4" RF = 27-3/16" Then I measured the height to the bottom of the front frame member by the radiator and to the bottom of the rear spring shackle: LF = 11-3/4" LR = 9-1/2" RR = 10-3/16&qu...

Re: Springs - Suspention
Thank you for the information. The car is a 48k survivor and I don't see any signs of an accident. (The video had a lot of good information). These are the measurements I recorded (I've found three stock ride heights from various sources). LF = 26-1/2" LR = 22" RR = 23" RF = 27-1/2&qu...

Springs - Suspention
My 1965 hardtop is sitting a low, about a half inch on the passenger side and almost 1-1/2 inches on the driver’s side. I’m guessing it needs new springs (a local shop would be doing the job). I did a search to get an idea what the components cost but I realized I don’t know what parts are needed. I...
